"Names/Nombres” Quickwrite


Write 2-3 complete sentences about whether you agree or disagree with the following statements (be sure to include WHY).

1. It is important that you like the name your family and friends call you.

2. Sometimes your name can show something about your past, family, or heritage that you don’t want to reveal.

3. Names don’t have meanings, they’re just names.

Elements Activity for "7th Grade"

Using a large piece of art paper, fold your paper into 4 sections.

Each section represents a different element.

For Plot, make a list of at least 8 events in order.

Character: Draw a cartoon of one character and have he or she
saying something in a dialogue bubble

Setting: Draw a map or an overhead view of one setting
from the story

Theme: Write a poem with the same message as the story
