POS Test Retakes

I am offering my 8th graders the opportunity to retake
the POS test on Tuesday, August 23rd at lunch. This
will be the only retake time and it is only available to
students who scored 14 or lower.

-Introduce the Elements of Storytelling(Narratives)
HW:Grammar Lesson 10.1 (pp 178-180)

Friday's Agenda

Quickwrite
-How to do a quickwrite
-Date each entry
-At least 40 words and at least three sentences on the topic provided.
-No need for a new paper unless both sides are full.
-You may adjust the prompt to fit your needs.
-No questions, no talking, no excuses

Please describe in detail the most memorable event from the start of school this year.
Tell it like a story, with details about the people and the place.
